We are a small company with big plans for an exciting journey into the food world
- we’d love you to be part of that journey.

The Happiest Nut Company is new with  deep roots in the Macadamia Industry. Its founder Peter Kermond has been in the industry since 1981 when, as a school student, he was planting Macadamia trees in Gympie, Queensland.  The Happiest Nut Company aims to bring tasty and interesting snacks to the world.  We do this by using our knowledge of farming, our passion for food technology, and working with our farming friends from around the world.

We are proudly Australian.

  • Macadamia Land

The Macadamia is native to this part of Australia.

  • Harvest Joy

We have been farming these nuts since 1981 and want the consumers to enjoy them as much as we do.

  • Farm Tour

If you want to see the farm just send us an email and we will try to make that happen, it is 45 minutes from Noosa and 2 hours from Brisbane

Elgin Park: A Resilient Legacy.

Since its establishment in 1989, Elgin Park has been an integral part of the Noosa hinterland's economy, weathering floods, fires, and fluctuating crop yields. Despite challenges, its enduring presence speaks volumes about resilience and perseverance.

Natural Pest Control through Beneficial Insects

We are always looking for ways to control pests without chemicals. At Elgin park, we use ‘beneficial insects’ to do this. These are bugs that eat other bugs. This is an expensive process and has taken some time.  If you want to learn more about this interesting method of pest control you can check out the following links.
